Collective protection : M-SAFE / Self-supporting aluminum railing

MF Self-supporting aluminum railing

NF E 85-015 : 2019 - EN ISO 14122-3 : 2016

The M-SAFE freestanding guardrail is the solution to comply with technical roofing regulations when fixing is impossible. It avoids any drilling intervention. According to the NF E 85-015:2019 standard, the freestanding guardrail is not suitable for new construction, renovation and waterproofing work, or when mechanical fixing is possible. The freestanding system can be installed on terraces with a maximum slope of 15º (or 10º parallel to the longitudinal axis of the handrail).

The M-SAFE freestanding guardrail is easy to install:

  • -Handrail fixing system, using a plastic plug.
  • -Support leg with factory-pre-assembled base.
  • -Drilling in the uprights for fixing the knee-rails.
  • -Handrails and knee-rail delivered in packs of 7 and 5 units, assembly using reduced ends.

Counterweight of 12.5 kg per unit with a unique design (84 units per pallet – 1200 kg):

  • -Norm NF E85-015: 2019 = 3 counterweights per support leg.
  • -Norm EN14122-3: 2016 = 2 counterweights per support leg (3 for each support leg where there is an angle and a plug end).
